Rough Week

There are three birthdays in my family this week including mine so my caloric intake is already shot. I can stick to my usual breakfast but the birthday lunches and dinners will be not so good. Oh well, by the weekend all will be back to normal.

Still hitting the Bowflex hard. I have noticed an increase in strength, which I am guessing is a result of using Creatine. I doubt I will see any increases in size since it would take a couple of pounds of muscle to actually see a difference. I have felt stronger in my past couple of workouts and seem to have more stamina.

Here is my current workout which is the "Abdominal Focus" routine outlined in "The Bowflex Body" book by Dr. Darden, along with a could of add-on exercises that I really like.

Leg Curls
Leg Extensions
Leg Presses
Calf Raises
Lying Shoulder Pullovers
Bench Press
Lat Pulldowns
Seated Rows
Lying Bicep Curls
Shoulder Presses
French Presses
Rotator Cuff Exercises
Side Rotations
Ab Crunches
Oblique Crunches

I do one set of each exercise, I do the exercises slow and with as much control as possible, while using a weight that limits me to 8-10 reps. It take me about 30 minutes for the entire routine.

Chad, I just happened to be surfing for weight loss and weight loss related sites and somehow ended here. Don't ask me how. I actually wasn't interested in Rough Week until I accidentally got here and started reading. Got major sidetracked. - But that's ok! Well, best of luck and I'm back off looking for info on weight loss.

Hello Chad. Well this blog certainly is not about bodybuilding . As we all know, the internet plays tricks on us sometimes. I have been looking online for about two hours researching bodybuilding and stumbling across your blog. VERY GOOD! It's a welcome break. If you don't mind I'd like to add your blog to my favorites list so I can come back later on and read some more stuff. Well I guess I should get back to researching bodybuilding .
